However, sellers and buyers alike should understand that this method does not take into account interior space lost to wall thicknesses, as well as largely unusable space lost to stairwells, utility rooms, closets, etc.
Everyone’s interests are better served by taking a closer look at floor plans and how one livable interior space relates to another. This is best seen in a floor-plan drawing or video tour.
